Program Description

This conference provides Massachusetts neurologists with the latest updates affecting the management of the practice of neurology.  This year's meeting will explore how neurologists can appropriately utilize social medical, effectively manage their online reputations and navigate the transition to ICD-10.

In addition attendees will hear an update on Capitol Hill from American Academy of Neurology's legislative counsel, Michael J. Amery, Esq.

Program Objectives

As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

1. Explain the manner in which different stakeholders, including physicians, health care organizations, and patients, use social media.

2. Describe influences that shape a clinician's online reputation, and develop and implement a plan to manage your online reputation.

3. Explain the key changes that will affect neurologists during the transition to ICD-10 and identify ways neurologists can effectively navigate this transition.
